Kindly refer to an affidavit filed in the Delhi High Court on 08-12-2006 in the matter of Mrs. Sharda Dhir and Others Versus Union of India & Others.  In the affidavit National Trust has said that it has collaborated with the INCLEN Trust to conduct a childhood neuro-developmental disability survey, which probably would take 2 years. (Kindly find copy of the affidavit enclosed herewith)

With regard to this kindly supply me the following information:
 This is with reference to your application No. nil dated 26th dated 26th June, 2009 on the subject matter. I am directed to inform the following pointwise information to your queries:-

Since the INCLEN Trust has got NIH-USA funding and for this funding they need clearance from Health Ministry Screening Committee (HSMC). Hence they have submitted the proposal to HSMC-ICMR and waiting for its clearance. One they get clearance from HSMC, they will start the project as soon as possible. They think they will get clearance from HMSC within 3 months. So the following answers to the queries should be seen in the light of above.
Question 1. Date of commencement of the survey. Date of commencement of the survey will be around November-December 2009.
Question 2. Kindly share with me the neuro-developmental screening tool to screen for Autism Spectrum Disorder, which has been developed. INCLEN-NDST is in a draft stage of development. After the instrument is finalized through field validation process, it will be put up in public domain for use of all children.
Question 3. Which states are included in the survey? In Phase- I (Field Validation) -Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Orissa and Tamil Nadu
